Naoki Hayashi is a self-taught artist based in Kaneohe, Hawaii. Gyotaku is the traditional method of Japanese fish printing and dates back to the mid-1800s. It was used by fishermen to record their catches. Naoki uses the same direct printing method to creating one of a kind pieces, each reflecting his signature style. Naoki’s art preserves meaningful culinary and fishing experiences; each piece is a memory of a prized dish or a great catch, and tells a captivating story through a life-sized, hand-printed work of art. My name is Joshua Flinn and was born and raised in Hawai'i. After High School, I attended college in Colorado where I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a minor in Art History and Psychology. I then returned home to follow my passion for Tattooing. I have been Tattooing for 25 years and still am extremely passionate for what I do. I have done many different styles over the years.

Hawaiʻi Handweavers' Hui offers classes and workshops in handweaving and fiber art to the public at our studio located at the St. Luke's Episcopal Church Community Hall in Honolulu. We are a non-profit, statewide membership-based organization founded in1953 to promote handweaving in our community, with branches on Oʻahu, Maui, and Hawaiʻi Island. In addition to classes and workshops, we sponsor membership meetings, community events and sales. And in the pursuit of excellence, we organize a juried biennial exhibition as well as an annual scholarship given to a new weaver.
