About

Hawaiʻi Handweavers' Hui offers classes and workshops in handweaving and fiber art to the public at our studio located at the St. Luke's Episcopal Church Community Hall in Honolulu. We are a non-profit, statewide membership-based organization founded in1953 to promote handweaving in our community, with branches on Oʻahu, Maui, and Hawaiʻi Island. In addition to classes and workshops, we sponsor membership meetings, community events and sales. And in the pursuit of excellence, we organize a juried biennial exhibition as well as an annual scholarship given to a new weaver. Through ongoing mentorship to new weavers and spinners, we perpetuate the joy of our craft. Contact us at info@hawaiihandweavers.org
