Naoki Hayashi is a self-taught artist based in Kaneohe, Hawaii. Gyotaku is the traditional method of Japanese fish printing and dates back to the mid-1800s. It was used by fishermen to record their catches. Naoki uses the same direct printing method to creating one of a kind pieces, each reflecting his signature style.
